Returning To Writing After a Hiatus
In August 2020 I made the painful, but necessary, decision to take a break from blogging. I usually love to write, and this labour of love was one of my biggest hobbies. But by this point it had become stressful, and tiring, and just another thing on my to-do list that I couldn’t keep up with. Did the pandemic have an impact? It’s hard to say. My Fitness Journey: Part 6. Taking a break for my mental health
Hi guys! It’s September now, and time for another long awaited update on my fitness journey – but one with a twist! For months now I have been working really hard to try and get myself in better shape, fitness-wise. I’ve been trying to eat better, exercise more, and just make my body stronger and hopefully get a bit more energy. Well after a pretty hell-ish month, I’ve basically undone any good I had built up previously and ended up feeling worse than ever. Take a break. It’s for your health. If you follow me on twitter you will have noticed that the last couple of weeks I have been feeling pretty rubbish. In fact, this last week I’ve not been able to blog at all, even on my days off, because I couldn’t get my brain in gear. I’ve been excessively tired, even more than usual, I’ve had a really bad cold, and my joints have been getting progressively more painful.
